I am so ridiculously excited to tell you about this! A couple of crafting friends and I are organizing a craft show!
After realizing that there is a need here in Chambersburg, PA for a craft show where local artisans can showcase their handmade goods we decided that it was in our hands to make it happen.
The show will take place at the Four Points Sheraton in Chambersburg, PA on November 10th 2012 8am-2pm.
We are currently looking for vendors to showcase at the event. There are a limited number of spaces and we will only be featuring handmade artisans and crafts persons.
Please read and fill out the application in the link below:
Craft Show Application
I will be keeping you updated on the vendor list and all of the fun things we have planned for the show day as we get closer.
If you or anyone that you know would like to apply to participate then please do so quickly. We are asking that all application be submitted by August 1st so we can get started.
Thanks so much and I look forward to seeing many of you there :)
EDITED TO ADD: WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS SO PLEASE CONTINUE TO APPLY!

Sounds great, Angel!! Too bad I'm so far away!
ReplyDeleteI may be interested in being a vendor. What is the cost? How much space will each vendor have? I make jewelry and fused glass art.
ReplyDeleteHi! All details are in the link to the application above. The cost is $35 and each vendor will get a 6' table. Thanks!! Angel
DeleteI'm very interested. I make all natural dog treats, handmade leashes, collars, dog clothes, beds etc. Is the table provided or should we provide our own? And is that the amount of space we will have available to us? Thanks for the info. will be sending in the app ASAP. Thank you, Angela Elgin Jumpin'Jax Pet Supplies.
ReplyDeleteAngela, I will be looking forward to receiving your application! The tables are provided. You will have a little space on either side of your table if you need it. Thanks so much!

DeleteSo excited!! I posted a link on my blog with a bit about the show.
ReplyDeleteI guess you want me to fill out an application, huh? LOL
I'll work on it now.
Lori,
ReplyDeletePennsylvania uses e-Tides, a system where you can register your business and pay your sales and use taxes online. They even have a demonstration site and online tutorial at http://www.doreservices.state.pa.us/etides_demo/demo_frmset.htm
We also live in MD and only do a few shows annually in PA, so we are set up to file every six months. Once you are registered, you do have to file a return even if you haven't sold anything in PA, but they send you an e-mail reminder.
Don't give up.--It's really easy!

Yay!!!!! A craft show where there are no vendors showing/selling jewelry party jewelry or pre-made factory produced food! Don't get me wrong - I like the stuff now and again and have attended and hosted my fair share of parties - but you can find that any and everywhere! Yay - for unique and handmade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's veeeeeerrry tempting.
